Some of the men who approach us may have moved home, want something different than the gay scene or dealing with their life journey. We promotes inclusiveness and a strong commitment to equality and diversity.
What We Offer
About Us
Essex Gay Men formed in 2007 so gay and bi men could meet locally and find support away from the gay scene and belief demand exists in many Essex towns for volunteer support.
Essex Gay Men is not a dating group and we don’t meet around peoples homes.
We meet discretely in community venues over tea and coffee and organise social events where their is a real interest.
We are involved in community forums and providing support to Essex Gay Men.
Chelmer Housing Partnership awarded a Grant in 2007 so we could establish a Chelmsford ‘drop in’
Community Champions provided Funds for Essex Gay Men to start up.
